I did Foundation Studies in Art and Design at Kingston University before obtaining a BA degree in Graphic Arts at Leeds Metropolitan University, specialising in illustration.
I graduated in 2001 and then started my career at an educational publishers before moving into picture books – which is my passion. Before going freelance I was Senior Designer at Little Tiger Press. I love to commission illustrators and work closely with them to create exciting and imaginative books for children. I also enjoy designing beautiful typography to enhance and complement artwork.
